Organic cashew nuts are collected from Auroville communities. A small portion of the nuts we use are purchased to support Bio-Region producers, chosen for their commitment to not spraying chemicals on their trees. They are carefully dried below 45 degrees, hand-processed the traditional way. We bring you these Organic Cashew in their most natural state, unroasted, unsalted with no added flavor and we trust you will enjoy their delicate taste.
To maintain the qualities of our organic cashews we hand process them without boiling or steaming. We have to know that the industrial way to process the cashews is to boil or steam them, this implies that most of the nutrients and vitamins will be lost. This is the main reason we are keeping the hand process. Once opened we dry the cashews, at low temperature, to keep them RAW.
